We’ve a big box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to share with you the facts, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I think the problem (besides our creativity) is that people have an outdoor stone driveway and exactly the same with your patio in the backyard. So the kids take the chalk colours and fill in most the small, rectangular bricks in different colours. Sometimes they venture to the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that first time before I noticed, and now they know they can break free with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the youngsters colour a few of the bricks on our home last year. That was a negative idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you intend to get a polish brush and work out how to obtain everything off. It’s been there for nearly annually now, and despite having pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened. I suppose I could find a polish brush and scrub it off, but who has the time for that??
