Do you get a mental block when you yourself have a blank canvas before you? And the kids assert, “Draw something! Draw something!” – I usually wind up drawing a flower, or sometimes a range, however I’m stumped. I’m exactly the same way with a giant blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! We have a huge box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to share with you the truth, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I believe the issue (besides our creativity) is that we have an outdoor patio stone driveway and the exact same with your patio in the backyard. And the other of our baby sitters let the children colour a few of the bricks on our house last year. That was a negative idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you intend to get a wash brush and work out how to get it all off. This has been there for pretty much per year now, and despite having pelting rains and a lot of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened. Perhaps I could find a wash brush and scrub it off, but who has the time for that??
