We’ve a big box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to share with you the truth, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I do believe the issue (besides our creativity) is that people have an outdoor stone driveway and the exact same with this patio in the backyard. So the children take the chalk colours and fill in most the small, rectangular bricks in different colours. Sometimes they venture in to the play house attached to their swing set and they’ll colour the walls within too (they’re not designed to, but wow, they really moved fast that first time before I noticed, and now they know they are able to escape with it. Little tricksters…)

Don’t colour the bricks on your home unless you want to get a wash brush and figure out how to obtain everything off. This has been there for almost annually now, and despite having pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened.
