We’ve a huge box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to inform you the facts, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I believe the issue (besides our creativity) is that individuals have an outdoor patio stone driveway and the same with your patio in the backyard. So the kids take the chalk colours and fill in every the small, rectangular bricks in various colours. Sometimes they venture into the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls within too (they’re not designed to, but wow, they really moved fast that first time before I noticed, and now they know they could get away with it. Little tricksters…)

If there is only 1 item to have us through the long summer days, it would be Sidewalk Chalk for the win. Not just can it be super inexpensive, but it’s ideal for all ages and has unlimited play potential. And really, what’s better than the usual “messy” activity with NO clean-up?!

And then one of our baby sitters let the youngsters colour a several bricks on the house last year. Which was a bad idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your house unless you wish to get a wash brush and work out how to obtain it all off. This has been there for pretty much a year now, and even with pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened. I guess I could find a polish brush and scrub it off, but who has enough time for that??
