I believe the problem (besides our creativity) is that people have a patio stone driveway and exactly the same with our patio in the backyard. So the children take the chalk colours and fill in every the little, rectangular bricks in numerous colours. Sometimes they venture into the play house attached to their swing set and they’ll colour the walls within too (they’re not supposed to, but wow, they really moved fast that very first time before I noticed, and now they know they are able to escape with it. And then one of our baby sitters let the children colour a some of the bricks on the house last year. That has been a poor idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your house unless you wish to get a wash brush and work out how to obtain everything off. This has been there for almost per year now, and despite having pelting rains and a lot of snow storms it’s as bright as the afternoon it happened. I suppose I really could find a polish brush and scrub it off, but who has the full time for that??
