Would you get a mental block when you yourself have a clear canvas in front of you? And your kids assert, “Draw something! Draw something!” – I usually find yourself drawing a rose, or sometimes a range, but I’m stumped. Personally i think exactly the same way with a huge blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! What have you been supposed to draw on a giant blank driveway!? (I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).

We’ve a big box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to share with you the reality, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I think the situation (besides our creativity) is that individuals have an outdoor stone driveway and the exact same with this patio in the backyard. So the youngsters take the chalk colours and fill in most the small, rectangular bricks in different colours. Sometimes they venture into the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that first-time before I noticed, and now they know they are able to escape with it. Little tricksters…)

If there clearly was only 1 item to get us through the long summer days, it would be Sidewalk Chalk for the win. Not merely could it be super inexpensive, but it’s great for all ages and has unlimited play potential. And really, what’s better than the usual “messy” activity with NO clean-up?!

So grab your box of chalk and head outside with the kids all night of nonstop fun!

And the other of our baby sitters let the youngsters colour a several bricks on our house last year. Which was a negative idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your home unless you intend to get a polish brush and work out how to have it all off. It’s been there for pretty much per year now, and even with pelting rains and plenty of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened. I guess I possibly could find a polish brush and scrub it off, but who has enough time for that??
