(I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).
We’ve a big box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to tell you the facts, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I think the situation (besides our creativity) is that we have an outdoor stone driveway and the exact same with this patio in the backyard. So the kids take the chalk colours and fill in all the little, rectangular bricks in various colours. Sometimes they venture into the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls inside too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that very first time before I noticed, and now they know they are able to break free with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the kids colour a few of the bricks on the house last year. Which was a bad idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your home unless you intend to get a scrub brush and work out how to obtain everything off. This has been there for almost a year now, and despite having pelting rains and plenty of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened. Perhaps I really could find a wash brush and scrub it off, but who has the time for that??
