Draw something!” – I usually find yourself drawing a flower, or sometimes a rainbow, however I’m stumped. I’m the exact same way with a giant blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! What are you likely to draw on a huge blank driveway!? (I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).

We’ve a large box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to inform you the reality, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I do believe the problem (besides our creativity) is that people have a patio stone driveway and exactly the same with this patio in the backyard. So the youngsters take the chalk colours and fill in all the tiny, rectangular bricks in various colours. Sometimes they venture in to the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that first-time before I noticed, and now they know they can get away with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the children colour a several bricks on the house last year. That was a bad idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your house unless you intend to get a wash brush and figure out how to obtain everything off. It’s been there for pretty much a year now, and despite pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened. Perhaps I could find a wash brush and scrub it off, but who has the time for that??
