Would you get a mental block if you have a clear canvas in front of you? And your children assert, “Draw something! Draw something!” – I usually find yourself drawing a rose, or sometimes a range, however I’m stumped. I’m the exact same way with a huge blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! What are you currently likely to draw on a huge blank driveway!? (I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).
We’ve a huge box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to inform you the reality, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I think the issue (besides our creativity) is that individuals have an outdoor patio stone driveway and the exact same with our patio in the backyard. So the children take the chalk colours and fill in all the little, rectangular bricks in various colours. Sometimes they venture to the play house attached with their swing set and they’ll colour the walls inside too (they’re not designed to, but wow, they really moved fast that very first time before I noticed, and now they know they could break free with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the youngsters colour a several bricks on our house last year. That has been a negative idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your home unless you want to get a wash brush and figure out how to get everything off. It’s been there for pretty much annually now, and even with pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as the day it happened. I guess I really could find a polish brush and scrub it off, but who has the time for that??
