We have a big box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to inform you the reality, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I believe the issue (besides our creativity) is that people have an outdoor patio stone driveway and the exact same with this patio in the backyard. So the youngsters take the chalk colours and fill in most the tiny, rectangular bricks in different colours. Sometimes they venture in to the play house attached with their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not designed to, but wow, they really moved fast that first-time before I noticed, and now they know they can escape with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the kids colour a several bricks on our home last year. That was a negative idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your home unless you wish to get a polish brush and work out how to get all of it off. This has been there for almost a year now, and despite pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened. I suppose I really could find a wash brush and scrub it off, but who has enough time for that??
