Do you get a mental block if you have a bare canvas in front of you? And the kids assert, “Draw something! Draw something!” – I usually end up drawing a rose, or sometimes a rainbow, however I’m stumped. I’m exactly the same way with a giant blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! What are you currently designed to draw on a huge blank driveway!? (I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).

We’ve a big box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to tell you the truth, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I believe the issue (besides our creativity) is that individuals have a patio stone driveway and the same with your patio in the backyard. So the kids take the chalk colours and fill in most the small, rectangular bricks in numerous colours. Sometimes they venture in to the play house attached with their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that first time before I noticed, and now they know they could get away with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the youngsters colour a several bricks on our home last year. That has been a poor idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you intend to get a polish brush and figure out how to obtain everything off. This has been there for pretty much per year now, and despite having pelting rains and plenty of snow storms it’s as bright as the afternoon it happened. I guess I really could find a scrub brush and scrub it off, but who has the full time for that??
