We’ve a big box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to share with you the facts, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I believe the situation (besides our creativity) is that we have an outdoor stone driveway and the same with our patio in the backyard. So the children take the chalk colours and fill in all the tiny, rectangular bricks in different colours. Sometimes they venture to the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that first time before I noticed, and now they know they are able to get away with it. Little tricksters…)

And then one of our baby sitters let the youngsters colour a several bricks on the house last year. That was a poor idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your home unless you want to get a scrub brush and figure out how to obtain everything off. It’s been there for pretty much per year now, and even with pelting rains and a lot of snow storms it’s as bright as the day it happened. Perhaps I possibly could find a wash brush and scrub it off, but who has the time for that??
