I believe the issue (besides our creativity) is that people have an outdoor stone driveway and the same with our patio in the backyard. So the youngsters take the chalk colours and fill in every the tiny, rectangular bricks in numerous colours. Sometimes they venture in to the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls inside too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that first-time before I noticed, and now they know they are able to break free with it. Little tricksters…)

And then one of our baby sitters let the youngsters colour a some of the bricks on the house last year. Which was a bad idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you wish to get a scrub brush and figure out how to obtain everything off. It’s been there for nearly annually now, and despite having pelting rains and plenty of snow storms it’s as bright as the afternoon it happened. I guess I really could find a scrub brush and scrub it off, but who has enough time for that??
