Do you get a mental block when you have a blank canvas before you? And your children say, “Draw something! Draw something!” – I usually find yourself drawing a rose, or sometimes a rainbow, but then I’m stumped. I feel the exact same way with a giant blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! What are you likely to draw on a huge blank driveway!? (I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).
We have a large box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to inform you the reality, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I do believe the issue (besides our creativity) is that we have a patio stone driveway and the exact same with your patio in the backyard. And then one of our baby sitters let the youngsters colour a some of the bricks on our home last year. That was a negative idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you intend to get a wash brush and figure out how to have all of it off. This has been there for nearly a year now, and despite pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as the afternoon it happened. I suppose I really could find a polish brush and scrub it off, but who has enough time for that??
