I believe the problem (besides our creativity) is that we have an outdoor patio stone driveway and the same with this patio in the backyard. So the youngsters take the chalk colours and fill in every the small, rectangular bricks in different colours. Sometimes they venture to the play house attached to their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that very first time before I noticed, and now they know they could escape with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the children colour a several bricks on the house last year. That was a bad idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you want to get a scrub brush and work out how to obtain it all off. This has been there for nearly a year now, and despite pelting rains and a lot of snow storms it’s as bright as the afternoon it happened. I suppose I really could find a wash brush and scrub it off, but who has the full time for that??
