Would you get a mental block when you yourself have a clear canvas facing you? And your kids are saying, “Draw something! Draw something!” – I usually wind up drawing a flower, or sometimes a rainbow, however I’m stumped. I’m exactly the same way with a giant blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! What are you currently supposed to draw on a giant blank driveway!? (I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).

We have a large box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to inform you the facts, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I do believe the situation (besides our creativity) is that individuals have an outdoor stone driveway and the same with your patio in the backyard. So the youngsters take the chalk colours and fill in most the tiny, rectangular bricks in numerous colours. Sometimes they venture into the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls inside too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that first-time before I noticed, and now they know they could get away with it. Little tricksters…)

If there is just one item to obtain us through the long summer days, it could be Sidewalk Chalk for the win. Not merely could it be super inexpensive, but it’s great for all ages and has unlimited play potential. And really, what’s better when compared to a “messy” activity with NO clean-up?!

And the other of our baby sitters let the children colour a several bricks on our house last year. Which was a negative idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you want to get a wash brush and figure out how to have all of it off. This has been there for almost a year now, and even with pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as the day it happened. I suppose I possibly could find a polish brush and scrub it off, but who has the full time for that??
