We’ve a huge box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to inform you the facts, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I think the issue (besides our creativity) is that we have an outdoor stone driveway and the exact same with our patio in the backyard. So the children take the chalk colours and fill in every the tiny, rectangular bricks in numerous colours. Sometimes they venture in to the play house attached to their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not likely to, but wow, they really moved fast that first time before I noticed, and now they know they are able to break free with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the kids colour a some of the bricks on our house last year. That has been a bad idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you wish to get a scrub brush and figure out how to obtain all of it off. It’s been there for nearly per year now, and despite pelting rains and lots of snow storms it’s as bright as the day it happened. Perhaps I really could find a wash brush and scrub it off, but who has enough time for that??
