Can you get a mental block when you have an empty canvas facing you? And the kids assert, “Draw something! Draw something!” – I usually find yourself drawing a rose, or sometimes a range, but I’m stumped. I feel the exact same way with a huge blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! What are you designed to draw on a giant blank driveway!? (I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).

We have a big box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to inform you the truth, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I think the issue (besides our creativity) is that individuals have a patio stone driveway and exactly the same with your patio in the backyard. So the children take the chalk colours and fill in all the small, rectangular bricks in different colours. Sometimes they venture in to the play house attached for their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not designed to, but wow, they really moved fast that very first time before I noticed, and now they know they can break free with it. Little tricksters…)

And the other of our baby sitters let the kids colour a several bricks on our house last year. Which was a negative idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your property unless you intend to get a wash brush and work out how to obtain everything off. This has been there for nearly per year now, and despite pelting rains and a lot of snow storms it’s as bright as the afternoon it happened. I suppose I possibly could find a polish brush and scrub it off, but who has the full time for that??
