Draw something!” – I usually end up drawing a flower, or sometimes a range, but I’m stumped. I’m exactly the same way with a huge blank driveway and sidewalk chalk, except it’s so much worse! What are you currently supposed to draw on a huge blank driveway!? (I’d probably still draw my typical flower and rainbow…).
We have a large box of sidewalk chalk sitting in the closet right now. But to tell you the reality, we aren’t NEARLY this creative with it. I believe the issue (besides our creativity) is that we have a patio stone driveway and the same with our patio in the backyard. So the children take the chalk colours and fill in every the little, rectangular bricks in numerous colours. Sometimes they venture into the play house attached with their swing set and they’ll colour the walls in there too (they’re not supposed to, but wow, they really moved fast that very first time before I noticed, and now they know they could break free with it. Little tricksters…)

And then one of our baby sitters let the children colour a several bricks on our home last year. That was a poor idea. Don’t colour the bricks on your home unless you wish to get a wash brush and work out how to obtain it all off. It’s been there for nearly per year now, and despite having pelting rains and a lot of snow storms it’s as bright as your day it happened. I guess I could find a wash brush and scrub it off, but who has the full time for that??
